紫禁城始建于1420年，曾是明朝(1368-1644)和清朝(1644-1911)的皇宫，经历了中国历史上许多关键时刻。
The Forbidden City was first built in 1420 and was used as the royal palace in Ming dynasty, which was from 1368 to 1644, and Qing dynasty, which was from 1644 to 1911. It has experienced many essential moments in Chinese history.

所以虽然写作July 11
但是读的时候是 July the eleventh哦
